~ Who Made This Mess?

Early last week, we got dumped on by snow. While JC was brushing the snow off of his truck before work that morning, Brody came into the garage to see what was going on. He walks to the end of the garage takes a look around at all of the white stuff and says, "Who made this mess?" JC and I laughed and I said, "Santa did!" Then Brody says, "Where gonna have to spank him!" We laughed at him again and I said, "No were gonna have to thank him! He brought it for us to play in!" It was so cute! I honestly can't remember the last time I had seen that much snow...it had to have been 10 yrs. I bet! We actually had enough snow to build a snowman and still have the snow covering the ground! It was awesome! OF COURSE once it warmed up a few degrees, I put Brody in his snow gear and took him outside to play while Mercedes napped. We busted out the sled and he pulled it around, then I pulled him around and we made a snowman that Brody kept trying to destroy with snowballs. Then he would through snowballs at me and at the house and at the cars that would drive by...he such a boy...definately his father's son!! Once Mercedes woke-up, I bundled her up in Brody's old snowsuit that he wore when he was like 3/4 months old. It fit her pretty good except she is just a smidge too tall for it, but it served its purpose! I took her outside so she could experience the snow. I only had her out for maybe 15 minutes though as I didn't want her to get sick. My lil' snowbunny seemed to enjoy it. I put snowballs in her hands and touched her nose with it. She tried to crawl in it, but struggled with the big snowsuite on! I'm glad my babies appreciate the snow as much as JC and I do. We're both pretty anxious to let Brody try snowboarding this year...we'll see how that goes!
