This year JC and I participated in the GJ Harley Davidson Toy Run. We borrowed JC's dad's bike since Robert and Lyn were gonna be on their way to Las Vegas! Holy Moly was it cold that day!! JC had leathers on, while I only had my jeans on. My thighs were were numb! I could have sworn I was developing frost bite!
Registration was at the Harley dealership and it was also the starting point for the ride. It is sooo cool to see and hear all of those bikes corraled together! This was actually the first time I had been on the back of a motorcycle and it was JC's first time with a passenger, so I admit I was nervous, but it was sooo much fun! Had it been just a little bit warmer for a more comfortable ride, I would have made JC take me for a longer ride!
The coolest part about this event, was seeing all of the people stand along the streets waving and cheering the bikers on. There were even people standing with signs that said "Thank You!" It was very cool!
Hopefully by the time this event rolls around next year, JC will have his own bike so that we can do it again. It really was a lot of fun!
