~ Easter Sunday

Easter was rather eventful this year! It pretty much started wednesday the 8th for us. Our friends The Coles invited us over to dye Easter Eggs with them and a few of their other friends. Unfortunately JC was working late that evening so he was unable to attend:( Then I missed the whole egg dying process because Mercedes was in desperate need of a feeding right as they were starting and continued to feed through the whole event! Thankfully, another friend of ours, Ashley, was kind enough to help Brody dye a few eggs...what a sweetheart;)
Even though JC and I missed out on the first batch of egg dying, we were able to make up for it on Friday. We went over to Justin & Christine's house to crash their egg dying party Cody, Sierrah & Becca... ...This is a Super Cute picture of Brody & Becca...

...Cody & Sierrah...

Easter Sunday morning, the Easter Bunny Stopped by our house and left Brody and Mercedes a little something...

After Brody was done digging into his gift from the Easter Bunny, we took off to Palisade to hunt for Easter Eggs at Papa & Oma's house. We also enjoyed a lovely Easter Sunday lunch that was ever so delightful;)
...Looking for them stinkin' eggs...
...There it is!...

...And Mercedes slept through it all...

We also attended an "Easter Gig" that Banana's Fun Park was putting on Saturday. The Easter Bunny was suppose to be there, and they were doing face painting and they were suppose to do some other fun activities with the kids, but it turned out to be a huge flop:( It was so lame and a huge disappointment that we just left. Brody did play a few arcade games while we were there, so he did have fun, just not the "FUN" we were hoping for. JC said that he did meet the Easter Bunny briefly while I was with Mercedes changing her, but he disappeared shortly after, never to be seen again...? Oh well, maybe next year it will be a nice Easter weekend as far as weather and the events will be better!
