~ Look At What We Found...

Our new neighbor told us of a park nearby that was within walking distance from our house. So Brody and I decided to be adventurous and go look for it. After about a 15 minute walk, we found the park located just above Orchard Mesa Middle School. It's a great park with lots of room to run around and a big jungle gym to climb on. There is also a little skate park for the skateboarders and a pavillion with tables and restrooms, and just below the park is a bridge that takes you across the river down to the river trail, which is awesome for our bike rides...AND not too far down the trail is the butterfly house thing (I don't remember what it's called!). The school has it's own indoor pool that opens to the outside in the summer, so Brody can conveniently go swim anytime this summer as well! It's nice to have these amenities so close to home, now I have a spot nearby that I can take Brody to burn energy, and it's a great, quick walk!...Look who thinks he's king of the jungle gym... ...The pavillion...
