~ Look Who Entered Their Golden Years!

I know I am really late updating our blog with family events, especially this one, but I felt it was important to still post it as these are very special momentous occasions!

On November 26th, 2008, JC's mom Lyn crossed paths with her 50th birthday. We threw her a little surprise birthday gathering at our house. Justin, Christine and the kids joined us, as well as Papa & Ellie (Lyns mom & dad) & Jan & Galen (Lyn's sister & brother in-law).

Of course we celebrated with cake and ice cream, and Lyn got lots of great gifts both fun "Gag" gifts and from the heart gifts.

My mom welcomed her 50th birthday December 13th, 2008. We also set up a surprise birthday party for her as well. Attendees included, Mike, Danielle, Matt, Mary, grandma, grandpa, Uncle Garry, Karen, Brock, Brocks new little woofer, JC, Brody and myself. All of us kids chipped in and made a lovely Mexican dish, well they did I couldn't cause all of my kitchen was packed in boxes, but it was a very scrumptuous dinner, and of course...cake!

We hope our moms had a wonderful 50th birthday. I will tell ya they aren't the easiest women to surprise either, both put up a fight while trying to get them to our house. All worked out well though and the surprises were a success!
