This year for Brody's birthday, we invited all of our close family and friends to celebrate with us at Sherwood park. Last year we did it at Highline Lake in the middle of the afternoon, and it was WAY TOO HOT!! So this time I did it at 6:00 in the evening thinking it would be significantly cooler and more comfortable. A little better, but still really hot. Oh well that's what is expected for mid-July. Anyhow, this year I did a motorcycle theme for Brody since he LOVES them so much! I ordered a banner and motorcycle balloons & I odered a cake from Sam's with his picture on it. We brought out his bump n jump for all the kids to play on and I made a taco bar (with mom's help of course) for everybody indulge in. Brody made out really well with gifts. Everything from shoes to bikes to motorcycles, puzzles & learning activities...MONEY!! He's really having a lot of fun playing with everything...it even forced me to clean out his toy box! Brody had a really good time for his birthday, and JC and I really appreciated everybody's company and participation in celebrating Brody's 2nd Birthday with us!!
