~ Father's Day

For Father's Day this year I made an arrangement for JC to have his arm tattooed by his preferred "Tattoo Guy" Tom. He had been wanting this done for some time now and kept on talking about it, but never got the opportunity to go until now. So I kept it a surprise for a week, and JC was in agony the whole time. I wanted to make sure he was really surprised, so I made him put on a blind fold, and I drove him around a little bit so he really wouldn't have any idea where we were at. He was really, truly...surprised and very excited when he removed the blind fold...Tom could only get about two thirds of the tat done, so it won't be completely finished until July 5th. He won't let me take any more pics of it until it's done, so here is a little preview...

..."Brody" was already there, but the flames that you see are the "new" additions. There are 22 individual flames I think...

So JC got his tats on Saturday, and on Sunday morning, we went golfing with Matt and Mary. Only Matt and JC golfed, MM and I were spectators. They were both a little rusty at first, but after they got past the first hole, they got a little bit of "groove" . Still no "Tigers" here, but at least the golf ball made it in the hole at some point...Enjoy the pics......They were really funny to watch because they would swing so hard you could hear the club whip through the air, but the ball would only go like 5 ft. sometimes...Matt nailed a rooftop once, and JC almost nailed me...and I was standing 10 ft off to the left of him!! The guys had a lot of fun though! ...This was JC's famous chip shot! He hit it from the above position right into the #9 hole! He was very proud of himself!! Matt hit a nice one too on this hole. He hit it from way over on the other side of a shed onto the green...it was pretty amazing for amateurs!...

After golf, we all headed to IHOP for brunch, then JC and I joined Brody at Papa & Oma's (JC's parents) house for lunch. All in all it was a very lovely Father's Day weeknd and I just want JC to know how much Brody and I love him, and how grateful we are to have him. Your a wonderful Father and a terrific husband!

Happy Father's Day!!
