~ I Wish You Had Seen It!

So Brody has a white rabbit that we let run freely in our backyard, and today, one of the dogs had dug an escape route for the rabbit underneath the fence. So when Brody and I returned home this afternoon, I had Huggybear and the rabbit waiting for us on our driveway. I tried to catch him/her, but it ran between two fences, and there was no way I was going to be able to get him out of there myself, so I just waited for JC to get home.

JC's idea for catching the escapee seemed simple enough...he would scare the rabbit out from between the two fences, and I would catch him at the exit...RIGHT! That didn't go over so well. we tried for about 30 minutes before he got past me at the exit and took off out of the cul-de-sac. So our pursuit to catch the rabbit went on, chasing him and throwing rocks at him in an attempt to scare him into a corner. Three more times, he got past us, and finally, like an hour later we cornered him and snagged his little %&$#!!

I am sure our neighbors were at first wondering what the HE%$ we were doing out there, then probably getting a kick out of seeing us lose to this rabbit; But victory was ours in the end! I wish we could have gotten it on video, because I thought it was so funny, I had about an hour long laugh...even Brody was out there trying to catch the stinkin rabbit...he thought it was very funny too...he had a great time trying to catch his rabbit to!!
