Brody is a whole 20 months old now! People ask me how old he is everyday, and they are always appalled when I tell them that he is only as old as he is...they always assume he as at least 2 years old! He has definitely mastered the 2 year old attitude though! And his curls, everybody loves his curls (especially the old ladies). They always tell him, "I have to to the beauty shop every other month to get curls like that!!" He loves to play with his new buddy Haas. As always, he prefers to be outdoors playing even if its zero degrees! He never fails to escape into the garage to play with dad's dirt bike...oh yeah, he can open doors now...good or bad thing...I haven't yet decided! He has this thing about playing with the light in the refrigerator, actually just playing in the refrigerator in it's entirety. Taking out everything in it and rearranging it. Loves the Parmesan cheese?! There have been several occasions where we have had to search high and low in all of Brody's hiding places for condiments, leftovers, the Parmesan cheese...etc. It an ongoing thing! He is a huge fan of chips and salsa, even if it's hot, he will still eat it with tears bursting from his eyes!
Brody is somewhat of a showoff, he enjoys being around people and talking there ears off. He loves to spin in circles, tease the dogs so that they will chase him, rough house with daddy, here is a strange one, play with the vaccum cleaner, sweep and mop the floors, wash the windows with baby wipes...after he has already ripped each one out of the box
individually and lined them up on the arm of the couch!
I will have to take a picture of that sometime!
My favorite thing about Brody is that he gives the best kisses and hugs...
(he's a cuddler ladies)!
He loves to talk on the phone! He has entire conversation on the phone that tend to be extremely interesting at times because he talks with such enthusiasm and rhetoric! His first word was dada, which he started saying when he was like 10 or 11 months old. Now he says Taco (our chihuahua), dog, get down, git, oh I see, trash, see it, nice dog, uh oh, go, shoes, socks, he has the "No to everything" down pretty well...He knows what your talking about when you ask him to find his drink or his shoes, get a diaper, where his toys are at etc...He recognizes familiar places, for example, when he sees grandmas bank building, he points to it and gets excited like he wants to go there, so he knows where to find grandma! He recognizes the noice JC's truck makes, so he knows when he gets home. It's really cute bacuse he runs to the garage door and trys to open it so he can great dad! He gets excited when the doorbell rings too, because he loves company. He gets really goofy and does silly things to keep everyones attention. A lot of times he gets upset when company leaves. He loves to go to grandma & grandpa Rod's house. He usually gets upset when we have to leave their house too.
Brody is so much fun to be around, so full of life and spirit! It's the most amazing thing in the world to watch him grow and discover the world around him.
He's a great kid...but he needs a sibling...hmmmm...!
