~ Christmas 2007

We all had a wonderful Christmas this year. It was very busy however, considering all the traditional family gatherings JC and I both have with each of our families. Brody is 17 months old now, so he was a lot more involved in the spirit of giving and receiving gifts. It was so exciting to see him unwrap his own gifts and find surprises in boxes! He was still sort of confused as to why you would put the toys in boxes! And of course, his older toys were just as fun and exciting to play with as his new ones!!

...And finally Brody's gift from Santa...his very first truck!!...Of course it's a Ford...Unfortunatley, elves don't know how to make 250s...

Cody had to drive Brody around in his truck because Brody isn't quite long enough to touch the gas...Thats OK though cause he can still control the stick-shift, and most importantly...the radio...Brody is a rockstar kid...he must have GOOD music!!

Brody is two years younger than the youngest of his three cousins, and he keeps up with them quite well, but of course at some point he needs to crash, and he did! He finally gave in to his sleep after his cousins left, and so did mommy!

I just love it when he falls asleep in my arms, and I have to tell you, that now that he is getting older, it is more seldom that he does crash while I am holding him...so when he does, I just hold him for as long as he will let me!...I love you stinky...Merry Christmas Baby!!
